I developed a passion for photography in my teens and shot my very first pet portrait in 1986 for my high school photography course. Since then I have photographed countless animals and have enjoyed the company of every urban animal I have ever met. |
| My special connection with animals allows me to capture their unique character and because I shoot on location in their natural environment they always feel at home. You can choose to have your photo session done in your home, backyard, park, beach etc. |
| Rates: $250 GST included |
| Includes: *2 hour photo session at a location of your choice with up to two pets ($40 each additional) |
| *20-30 high resolution images on CD (by supplying you with high resolution images you are free to have your prints done at a photofinisher of your choice without the markup) |
| *travel time (in most cases) |
| What you should do to prepare for photo shoot: |
| -groom your pet(s) a day or two before the session |
| -take your dog for a good walk beforehand |
| -if the shoot is happening in your home, tidy up your pet’s favourite spots. Ideally a large bright room with large windows are best. |
| -clear space for a background stand, move coffee tables out of the way but do not disturb any favourite hang out spots. |
| -put away any delicate breakables |
| -discuss with me any issues you may have regarding your pet’s behaviour, shyness or aggression |
| -have your pet’s favourite treats/toys ready but put aside |
